How much should kids train…?
Not sure how much your kids should be moving?
So we know adults need 30 minutes of exercise five times a week (minimum!) and at our gym, we aim to help as many people in Bishops Stortford achieve this as possible!
But what about our kids?
Well guidelines suggest a minimum of 60 minutes a day – every day.
These should range from moderate to vigorous activities.
So now that the sun is out, run around with them outside, push them on the swings, build dens, go cycling, kick a ball, anything to get those 60 minutes daily.
Children should be taking part in as many activities as possible with as much variance as possible to set them up for physical success later in life!
At our gym we run a kids fitness class, elsewhere in Bishops Stortford there are loads of activities for them!
Swimming, gymnastics, CrossFit, Team sports, walking, cycling, kayaking…the list goes on!
