I have always had a love for fitness, playing netball and training at a relatively high level however was always nervous about the prospect of joining a gym. In 2015 I decided it was time for a new fitness challenge and booked on for my first CrossFit class. I talked myself out of attending several times due largely to a fear of the unknown. Little did I know that the unknown would become one of my favourite things about CrossFit. I love the feeling and excitement that you get before you embark on every workout and the sense of achievement that you feel once you have completed it. There is also a great sense of community and I love training with people who share the same passion and commitment to push themselves to the limit.
I have recently been inspired to take my CrossFit journey further and to train to become a coach. I am really enjoying learning about the mechanics of the movements and hope that I can help others to progress and fulfil their fitness journeys/goals. I am really excited about the prospect of coaching and being able to do what I love every day!
